2010-2011 (Freshman): After being slated to redshirt and not dressing for the first nine games of the season, broke on the scene and was a standout rookie in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference... Earned MAAC All-Rookie honors after playing in 21 gams and averaging 9.8 points per... Third on the team in scoring... Made his collegiate debut, coming off the bench and playing four minutes, against Mount St. Mary[apos]s (12/11)... His minutes jumped to 18 in the Greyhounds[apos] next game, a date at the Verizon Center with Georgetown (12/18), and Drummond scored 21 points on 7-of-14 from the floor and 3-of-8 from 3-point range... Poured in 17, making 6-of-10 shots four days later at Howard (12/22)... Earned MAAC Rookie of the Week honors after both of those games... Scored 11 in 18 minutes in an upset of Fairfield (1/14), which was previously unbeaten in the MAAC... Grabbed five boards and made 5-of-9 shots against the Stags... Scored 11 or more points in four-straight games from January 20-30, capping the stretch with his first collegiate double-double, a 14-point, 10-rebound performance at home versus Iona (1/30)... He was named MAAC Rookie of the Week, again, after that effort... Made 10-of-21 shots and scored a season-high 22 in a victory over Canisius, grabbing eight boards, five offensive, as well... Closed the season with three double-figure performances, including a game-high 18 in the MAAC Quartefinals against Saint Peter[apos]s (3/5).

Before Loyola: Spent his senior year at Riverdale Baptist High School after attending Mountain State (W.Va.) High School as a junior... The switch moved him closer to home and he opted for Loyola for a similar reason... Forced to play out-of-position at center at Riverdale Baptist.
