Hope Lewandoski

Lewandoski joined the Greyhounds women's basketball program in the summer of 2023.

Following her graduation from Maryland, Lewandoski served as an administrative assistant in the athletic department at George Washington University and later completed The Foundation of Sports Sales Academy with the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers.
 
Lewandoski was a two-time co-captain for the Terrapins while earning Big Ten Conference All-Academic and Distinguished Scholar honors.
 
She was Maryland's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner and the recipient of the Terrapins' James H. Kehoe Award, an honor given to a Maryland female student-athlete who exemplifies the ideals of sportsmanship.
 
Lewandoski was a student-athlete representative for the VoTERP program and served as the school's representative to the Big Ten's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She was involved in the Maryland Made Leadership Academy, served as the SGA-SAAC student liaison and was the president of FCA.
 
She competed for the Terrapins' women's soccer team from 2017-21, seeing action in 80 matches while starting 53. A midfielder, she scored six goals and had four assists in her career.
 
Lewandoski earned her bachelor of science in kinesiology from Maryland and then later graduated from the university's Robert H. Smith School of Business with her master's of science in business and management.
