Jenna Loschiavo joined Loyola's women's basketball staff as an assistant coach in August 2015.
Loschiavo joined the Greyhounds’ staff after three seasons with Patriot League-rival Boston University. Loschiavo spent two years as an assistant coach with the Terriers, where she was in charge of player development, recruiting and day-to-day operations. She also served as the Director of Basketball Operations during the 2011-12 season.Â
In her time with Boston University, Loschiavo helped the Terriers defeat then-No. 17/15 St. John’s University during the 2012-13 campaign, marking the highest-ranked opponent BU has defeated in program history. She also helped the squad to a 24-6 overall record in that same year, including a 13-game winning streak. The Terriers earned a bid to the WNIT and recorded their second-ever postseason victory, a 61-42 win over Sacred Heart University.Â
In addition to coaching responsibilities, Loschiavo helped the Terriers transition from the America East to the Patriot League in 2013-14.Â
A 2009 graduate of Saint Joseph’s University, Loschiavo concluded her career as one of the top 3-point shooters in program history, ranking sixth in 3-point field goals made (150), attempted (404) and percentage (.371). She’s also tied for 10th in single-season treys made, recording 71 throughout her sophomore season.
The Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, native was a four-year starter and 1,000-point scorer at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, where she earned Street & Smith Honorable Mention All-America honors as a junior and senior.
