2019 (Sophomore): Finished 27th in the season-opening Towson Invitational (19:45.6)... Ran 28:21.0 on the 8k Paul Short Run course and was 363rd... FInished 234th in 28:57.1 at the Princeton Invitational.

2018 (Freshman): Appeared in three meets as a freshman ... finished 25^th at Navy Invitational with a time of 29:10.68 ... ran a time of 27:58.97 in Loyola Lakefront Invitational ... placed 44^th (28:42.60) at Lafayette Invitational.
 
Before Loyola: Graduated from Linganore High School in Frederick, Maryland, where he earned 10 letters, four each in indoor and outdoor track and field and two in cross country… finished 17^th at the Maryland Class 3A State Cross Country Championships, leading his team to a second-place finish… helped Linganore win the CMC Championships, the Hood College Invitational, the Frederick County Championships and the regional title in cross country… also helped Linganore to a Maryland Class 3A Cross Country and Indoor Track and Field title earlier in his high school career … had top performances of 16:53 in the 5,000m, 16:43 in the 3-mile, 4:46 in the 1-mile, 10:24 in the 2-mile and 2:12 in the 800 meters.
 
Personal: Son of Yvette and Mark Askine … has one older sister, Sarah, a 2017 graduate of Loyola who was a four-year member of the women’s cross country and track and field teams … Member of the National Honor, Math National Honor and History Honor Societies at Linganore and participated in Project Lead The Way.
