Before Loyola: Four-year varsity volleyball player in high school, graduating from Archbishop Hoban in Akron, Ohio, in 2017… Played her final three years at Archbishop Hoban after prepping her freshman season at Our Lady of the Elms… Hit .248 with 190 kills and 192 digs as a senior in 2016, earning All-District First Team honors… Was an All-District Second Team performer in 2015 when she had 186 kills, 195 digs and 57 service aces… Helped Archbishop Hoban reach the regional finals where it lost to the eventual state champions as a sophomore in 2014, earning All-District honorable mention in the process… Played club volleyball for Academy Volleyball Cleveland and earned All-Tournament honors at the Girls’ Junior National Championship in 2016 as part of the Division 17 USA.

Personal: Ashley Elaine Kozer… Daughter of Kim and Robert Kozer… Has one older, sister, Aubrey, who is a volleyball player at the Unviersity of Akron… Received her schools’ highest honors all four years of high school and was named the Academic Knight as a senior… Finished high school with a cumulative grade-point average of 4.1 and was in the top-20 of her class… Member of the National Honors Society… Participated in Project Hope, a group that helps feed Akron’s homeless.
