BALTIMORE - The Loyola men's and women's swimming and diving teams were each named Division I Team Scholar All-Americans by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their excellence in the classroom.

Loyola's women put together a 3.20 grade point average as a team, while the men turned in a mark of 3.05.

The Greyhounds were equally sharp in the pool. The men won the 2009 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference title, while the women placed third in the MAAC Championships.
