Aug. 9, 2017 BALTIMORE - Loyola University Maryland head coach Steve Nichols has announced the addition of 13 newcomers to the men's soccer program, as the team opens preseason training Wednesday.
The incoming class is composed of 13 players from the Mid-Atlantic Region, including seven from the state of Maryland.
"This class won't be as top heavy and have all of the bells and whistles as last year's, but it's another great class that will help turn the corner for our program," Nichols said. "The class addresses some immediate needs with some very talented individuals and will provide us with depth and competition at every position. This class will take us from a very good team to a proper program. The future is awful bright for Loyola men's soccer."
