With a win at American on Wednesday, the Greyhounds would secure a berth in the six-team Patriot League Tournament for a third-straight season.  

Loyola Greyhounds (9-3-1, 4-1-1 Patriot League)

Josh Fawole was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week for a second-straight week after scoring two goals at Holy Cross, including the game-winner in the 107th minute.
Barry Sharifi also picked up his second Patriot League Midfielder of the Week accolade in the last three weeks after scoring the equalizer in the 81st minute against the Crusaders. 
• Loyola is outscoring its Patriot League competition 12-5 this year, while the Greyhound also have a 97-56 advantage in shots and a 46-11 edge in corner kicks in League games. 
• Two of the Greyhounds' three losses are to teams that have received votes in the national poll this year, while their lone tie was to Colgate, a team ranked 25th nationally to start the year.
Brian Saramago, a MAC Hermann Trophy Award Watch List honoree, leads the Greyhounds with 20 points on seven goals and six assists. 
• Sharifi is second on the team with 11 points on four goals and three assists, while Fawole has five goals and 10 points. Senior Gabriel Carlsson is fourth on the team in points, with nine, and second with five assists. 
• In total, 12 Greyhounds have contributed to the offense, with nine scoring goals and 10 tallying at least one assist. 
Chase Vosvick has played 1137:58 minutes in goal and has tallied 33 saves this season, including three on penalty kicks; at Villanova, vs. Boston University and at Holy Cross. He's allowed 10 goals, recorded five shutouts, has a 0.79 goals-against average and a .767 save percentage. 

American Eagles (4-6-4, 3-1-2 Patriot League)
• The Eagles are coming off a 1-0 road win over Lehigh, the then-leader in the Patriot League standings. John Mino and Oscar McConnell were named the Patriot League goalkeeper and defensive player of the week, respectively, for their play in the game, as Mino completed his first clean sheet of the season and made seven saves in the upset. McConnell also aided in the shutout and was responsible for the lone goal in the game. 
• Fabio Massaro leads the Eagles with six goals and 12 points, while Brenner Jarrad has four goals and nine points. Jerry Zouantcha also has four goals. 
• In goal, Mino has played three games for American, starting two. He's allowed 2.64 goals per game in 204 minutes of action, and stopped 13 shots for a .684 save percentage. 
• Lucas Manso has logged the most amount of minutes for the Eagles, playing 1070. He has a 2.02 GAA and .657 save percentage to go with one shutout. 
• As a team, the Eagles are allowing 2.28 goals per game, while saving 65.7 percent of shots faced. They've posted two shutouts in 14 games. 

Series History
• American is Loyola's most storied rival in the Patriot League, as the teams have met 45 times.
• Loyola holds a 25-15-5 lead the series after a commanding 4-1 victory last year.
• Since joining the Patriot League, Loyola is 3-2 against American, with the Greyhounds' first-ever League victory being a 3-1 decision over the Eagles on October 30, 2013.
• American won the next two in the series before 2016, when the Greyhounds scored in the 32nd minute to hand the Eagles, the then-preseason favorites, their lone League loss of the year.
