WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Loyola University Maryland men's soccer team used goals from four different Greyhounds to capture a 4-1 win at American University Wednesday afternoon and clinch a spot in the upcoming Patriot League Tournament.

In the fourth minute,
Sam Brown avoided getting tangled up with the goalkeeper and finished a cross from Saramago to give the Greyhounds an early 1-0 lead.
Sam Brown then played a ball to
Nico Brown in the top corner of the box which he blasted into the back of the net in the 21st minute.
Less than three minutes later, sophomore

The Greyhounds nearly had a fourth goal in the 32nd minute when Saramago crossed a ball into the small box for Steven Nichols to head home. The ball sailed mere inches over Nichols' head though.
Loyola looked to start the scoring in the second half when Fawole crossed a ball into the box for junior
