Patriot league Regular Season Champions
• With one game remaining, the Greyhounds have secured the Patriot League regular season title for a second-straight year and will host the 2018 Patriot League Championships.
• Loyola joins American and Holy Cross as the only other League teams to outright win back-to-back regular season championships, as the Crusaders won the 2001 and 2002 Patriot League titles and American won in 2001 and 2012. The Eagles also won in 2004 and were co-champions in 2005, while Lafayette was co-champions in 1993 and champions in 1994.
• Over the course of the last three seasons, the Greyhounds have earned a top-two seed in each of those Patriot League Tournaments, marking the first time since 1995 that the same team has been among the League's top two in three-straight seasons. Lafayette was co-champion in 1993, the regular-season champion in 1994 and second in 1995.

Loyola Greyhounds (11-3-1, 6-1-1 Patriot League)
• Loyola is on a six-game win streak and has outscored its opponents, 17-4, in those games.
• The Greyhounds also moved to No. 2 in the United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Region rankings this week and are receiving votes in the national poll for the first time this season.
• Two of the Greyhounds' three losses are to teams that have received votes in the national poll this year, while their lone tie was to Colgate, a team ranked 25th nationally to start the year.
• With a 4-1 win at American on October 24, the Greyhounds secured their 10th win for their first back-to-back 10-win seasons since the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
• Loyola is outscoring its Patriot League competition 17-6 this year and has a 54-16 advantage in points. The Greyhound also have a 114-70 advantage in shots and a 50-18 edge in corner kicks throughout League games.
• Junior Nico Brown was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week and to the College Soccer News and TopDrawerSoccer National Teams of the Week after scoring the game-winning goals in both of Loyola's wins against American and Lehigh last week. He's now tied for second on the team in goals (5) and tied for third in points (11) after scoring four goals in the Greyhounds' last five games.
Brian Saramago, a MAC Hermann Trophy Award Watch List honoree, leads the conference with 24 points this year, scoring eight goals and adding eight assists. His five assists in Patriot League games also tops the League, while his eight on the season is tied for 10th nationally.
• Saramago also recently became the 20th player in program history - and the 14th at Loyola's NCAA Division I level - to score 25 career goals. He currently has 26 in three seasons.
• Fawole is second on the team with 12 points on five goals and two assists, while Brown (5g, 1a) and Barry Sharifi (4g, 3a) are tied for third with 11 points each.
• Thirteen Greyhounds have contributed to the offense, with 10 scoring and 11 assisting a goal.
Chase Vosvick has played 1317:58 minutes in goal and has tallied 37 saves this season, including three on penalty kicks; at Villanova, vs. Boston University and at Holy Cross. He's allowed 11 goals, recorded six shutouts, has a 0.75 goals-against average and a .771 save percentage.

Lafayette Leopards (5-7-4, 1-4-3 Patriot League)
• Lafayette snapped a three-game losing skid with a double-overtime 1-1 tie at American Saturday.
• Chris Gomez and James Gibson lead the team with four goals and eight points this season, while Ryan Goncalves has one goal and five assists and Andrew Venezia has four assists.
• Alex Sutton has logged 1,440 minutes this season in goal, starting 15 games and making 51 saves for a .797 save percentage. Jack Cisneros started the game against Rutgers.

Series History
• Loyola leads the all-time series with Lafayette, 4-2-1, after winning the last two meetings; 2-0 in 2016 and 1-0 last year.
• Since joining the Patriot League, Loyola is 3-1-1 against Lafayette. The two squads traded 1-0 wins in 2013 and 2014 before playing to a 1-1 double-overtime tie in Easton, Pennsylvania, in 2015. Loyola has won the last two since then.
