BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland women's basketball will open its 2018-19 campaign on November 6 as part of an 11-game non-conference schedule, head coach Joe Logan announced today.

The Greyhounds start their season with three road contests, two in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. metro area. Loyola commences the year at George Mason on the season's opening day, November 6.

Following that game, the Greyhounds will head to New Hampshire where they will take on Dartmouth on December 9. Loyola then returns to the area for a November 13 game at Georgetown.

Home play starts on November 17 as the Greyhounds host William & Mary in Reitz Arena. They then travel to Philadelphia for the 2018 Hawks Classic at Saint Joseph's. Loyola will take on Boston College in the tournament's opener on November 24, and it will then face Rider or the host Hawks the following day.

Loyola returns to Reitz Arena on December 1 to host Mount St. Mary's on Alumni Day. The game is part of a Loyola-Mount St. Mary's doubleheader with the Catholic schools' men's programs facing off, as well.

A quick trip to Towson on December 4 is up next for Loyola, followed by a home affair with St. Francis Brooklyn on December 7.

The Greyhounds then make the short trip to College Park for a December 10 contest at Maryland.

Non-conference action wraps up before Christmas for Loyola with a December 22 game at Monmouth, a game that will be played nearby the homes of senior Alex Barazotti and junior Stephanie Karcz.

Patriot League play is slated to start in the first day days of the new year; the conference schedule will be released at a later date.
