Series History
• After winning the last two meetings against Navy, Loyola is now 3-4-2 when facing the Mids.
Brian Saramago scored a pair of goals within a span of five minutes last year to get the Greyhounds a 2-0 win at home. It marked Loyola's second-straight win in the series, as the Greyhounds also captured a 2-1 win in overtime in 2016.
• Loyola was winless against Navy from 2009 through 2015, going 0-3-2 in those years. The two squads played to a weather-shortened 3-3 tie in 2011 and a 1-1 double-overtime draw in 2014.
• Prior to that, Loyola's first win came in 2003, a 2-1 neutral site victory, while Navy captured the inaugural meeting between the two programs, 2-1, in 1979.
• When playing in Annapolis, Loyola is 0-3-1 with its lone tie being the 3-3 tie in 2011.
