With the 2018-19 school year officially starting on Monday, the Loyola University Maryland men's lacrosse team welcomed 13 new players to the program over the weekend.
Eleven freshmen and two transfers will join the locker room when fall conditioning and practices begin for the Greyhounds: Liam Bateman (Towson, Md./Loyola Blakefield), Mitchell Cain (Victor, N.Y./Victor), Matt Hughes (Reston, Va./South Lakes/Mercer), Cam James (Wilsonville, Ore./Landon School), Scott Middleton (Phoenix, Md./Hereford), Corey Millhouse (North Haven, Conn./Hamden Hall/Virginia), Ross Pridemore (Atlanta, Ga./Homeschooled), Jack Raba (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire), Payton Rezanka (San Diego, Calif./Cathedral Catholic), Chase Scanlan (Irving, N.Y./IMG Academy), Matt Stucchi (Rexford, N.Y./Hill Academy [Ontario]), Freeman Whitaker (Oakwood, Ohio/Oakwood) and Cam Wyers (Ottawa, Ontario/Everest Academy).

The Baltimore Sun and All-Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) First Team as a senior in 2018… Was a finalist for the C. Markland Kelly Award as the state's top player after he senior year in which he scored 46 goals and had 30 assists… Helped the Dons reach the MIAA semifinals three times and also log wins over the No. 1 team in the country twice in the same year… Tallied 21 goals and the same number of assists as a junior after posting 15 and 10 during his 2016 sophomore season… Played club for FCA Lacrosse.
