Loyola Greyhounds (1-14, 0-4 Patriot League)
• Stephanie Karcz leads the team in rebounding, steals and assists this season. Her 10.7 rebounds per game ranks fourth in the League, while her 62 steals leads the League and her 47 assists are fifth. She's also second in the NCAA in steals per game (4.36).
• In scoring, sophomore Isabella Therien leads the squad with 11.9 points per game, while redshirt senior Bri Betz-White is second on the team with 9.7 points per game.
• In conference only games, Therien leads the team with 12.8 points per game, while freshman Taleah Dixon is contributing 10.8 per game and Karcz is averaging a double-double of 10.0 points and a League-best 13.3 rebounds per game.
American Eagles (7-8, 3-1 Patriot League)
• The Eagles are coming off a 61-51 win over Army West Point Saturday.
• Elina Koskimies ranks fourth in the Patriot League, with 12.7 points per game, while Cecily Carl is tied for ninth in the League with 12.0 points per game.
• Koskimies also leads the League in free throw percentage, converting 93.6 percent of free throws taken (44-of-47), while Carl is third (30-of-35 for 85.7 percent).
• In rebounding, the Eagles rank ninth in the League, averaging 34.3 per game.
Series History
• American holds an 19-6 advantage in the all-time series with the Greyhounds.
• Loyola swept the 2015 season meetings, but the Eagles won both of the match-ups in 2016-17 and 2017-18.
• When playing in Washington D.C., American leads 11-1, with Loyola's lone with coming on February 27, 2016.
• The Greyhounds earned the win in the inaugural meeting, during the 1976-77 season, but American won the next nine-straight games from the 1977-78 season through the 1984-85 season.
• After a 15-year hiatus, the two programs met again in 2001, with Loyola coming out on top of that contest.
• The Greyhounds won the next meeting, in 2003, and ultimately won three of the next five before joining the Patriot League.
• American won the first four meetings once the two squads became conference foes, before Loyola earned its first League win in 2015 and followed it up with a victory in 2016.
• The Eagles have won the four since then.
