CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Loyola University Maryland's men's and women's swimming and diving and men's golf teams led their respective Patriot League counterparts in the classroom this semester, each topping their lists of Patriot League Academic Honor Roll recipients.
 
The golf squad checked in with a conference-high eight honorees, while men's swimming and diving led the way in its spot with 25 and women's swimming and diving had a Patriot League-best 34.
 
Four members of the women's swimming and diving team – Anne Hayburn, Grace Huckenpoehler, Maggie Manchester and Alexa Stewart – had perfect 4.0 grade-point averages, while three from the men's team – Ross Caudle, Jimmy Hayburn and Zachary Metzler – had the same achievement. Nick Mejia and Sasha Sparacino led the golf team with matching 3.934 marks.
 
To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 GPA in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
