CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Loyola University Maryland men's and women's lacrosse combined to place 51 student-athletes on the 2019 Patriot League Academic Honor Rolls following the spring semester.
The men's team saw 28 make the list, while 23 from the women's side earned the honor.
Three women's lacrosse players –
Amanda Ignacio,
Elli Kluegel and Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year
Kristen Yanchoris – finished with perfect 4.0 grade-point averages, while a pair from the men's team –
John Railey and
Freeman Whitaker – posted that mark.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 GPA in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
