Baltimore -- ILWomen released their Midseason All-American teams on Wednesday afternoon, as Loyola University Maryland's Mae Murphy was named to the team.
Murphy was named to the Third Team, as she was one of just three freshman named to the Midseason All-American teams.
Murphy has been off to a great start for her Greyhound career, as she has broken the Loyola and Patriot League Freshman Single-Season Draw Control record, as she has 149 draws through 12 games this season. She has recorded double-digit draws in all but two games this season, including five games with 15 or more draws.
She has also led Loyola to be the top-ranked draw unit in the country, winning 68.2% of draws this season. Murphy ranks third in Division I in draws per game, averaging 12.4 per game.
