BALTIMORE – Eighteen different Loyola University Maryland swimmers and divers won individual races, and the Greyhounds topped Mount St. Mary's in 30 of 32 events overall in a Senior Day sweep at Mangione Pool on Saturday.

The men won by an official final of 155-113, while the women's final line was 168-100. Both teams swam their final four events as exhibitions after clinching their respective dual victories.

Emily Koegl, won of 17 Greyhounds honored on Senior Day, led the way with three individual victories for the women. Jimmy Hayburn was one of three men to record multiple wins for the men, and he also broke his own school record in the 50-yard butterfly.

Hayburn's time of 22.44 was six-hundredths under his previous program mark, as he beat out teammate Jonathan Brooks (22.92) in second place. Hayburn also topped the field in the 50 freestyle (20.75) and he teamed with Brooks, Jay Venit and Colin Anderson for a first-place showing in the 200 medley relay (1:34.23).

Sung Lee and Max Verheyen each added a pair of individual wins for the men in the pool. Lee touched the line nearly eight seconds ahead of his closest competitor in the 200 free (1:40.46), and his mark of 51.41 allowed him to edge Zac Metzler (51.98) in the 100 fly.

Verheyen took first in the 100 breaststroke (57.73) and 100 individual medley (52.56). John Nguyen (1:01.38) and Brian Hess (1:02.25) followed in the 100 breast, while Reid Hussey (52.70) and Brooks (53.24) were next in the 100 IM.

Jack Still swept the diving events, as he earned 251.85 points in the three-meter event and 244.42 points in the one-meter.

Matt Voight added a victory for Loyola in the 1000 free, as his time of 10:06.90 beat out Tommy Noone (10:13.81) in second. Alejandro Basalo (4:55.15) and Brett Legambi (4:59.35) claimed the top two spots in the other distance event, the 500 free.

Hussey (23.71), Brooks (24.63) and Mark Boran (24.88) were the top three finishers in the 50 back, while Alexander Chan (48.86), John Sakovich (49.21) and Lee (49.43) led the way in the 100 free. The final individual win came from Casey Brown (53.40) in the 100 backstroke, with Voight (56.36) following in second.

Anderson, Brendon Kolar, Brown and Hussey completed the afternoon for the men with a winning time of 1:27.00 in the 200 free relay.

Koegl's three individual triumphs for the women came in the 100 fly (56.20), 50 fly (25.35) and 100 IM (1:00.58). Claire Bowser (1:00.82) and Hailey Goodyear (1:01.61) were the next two finishers in the 100 fly, Anne Hayburn (26.24) took second in the 50 fly, and Bowser (1:01.32) and Emma Schouten (1:02.49) rounded out the top three in the 100 IM.

Koegl was part of a fourth victory in the 200 medley relay, as she joined Elizabeth Walsh, Devin Cronin and Megan Dickey to complete the race in 1:47.20.

Cronin and Dickey both supplied two individual wins for the Greyhounds. Cronin topped the field in the 50 breast (30.20) and 100 breast (1:05.07). Schouten (30.80) and Abby Andrews (31.77) were the next two in the 50 breast, while Schouten (1:07.42) and Walsh (1:07.89) followed in the 100 breast.

Dickey (24.66) beat out Faith Tyranski (24.88) and Hayburn (24.98) in the 50 free, and her mark of 54.26 led to another win in the 100 free. Tyranski, meanwhile, posted a 26.94 to top Taylor Ament (29.03) and Maggie Manchester (29.08) in the 50 back, and she added a runner-up time of 1:00.48 in the 100 back.

Loyola swimmers were the only competitors in the distance free events. Elizabeth Romano completed the 1000 free in 11:03.54, and Allison Wade finished the 500 free in 5:33.40. Walsh (1:57.57) bested Sophie Jahan (2:00.75) in the 200 free for Loyola's other individual win in the pool.

Loyola also swept the two diving events. Allison Echeverria (227.39), Jessica Stolfi (205.65) and Elizabeth Berta (194.46) were the top three in the one-meter, while Stolfi (214.56), Echeverria (190.49) and Berta (178.72) was the order in the three-meter.

Jahan, Hayburn, Walsh and Dickey rounded out the afternoon with a winning time of 1:39.20 in the 200 free relay.

The Greyhounds can now look ahead to the Patriot League Championship meet, which will be hosted by Navy from Feb. 19-22.
