San, Ingram, Vosvick Take Home Patriot League Weekly Accolades

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League released its final weekly awards of the men's soccer regular season on Monday afternoon, with Loyola University Maryland accounting for four of the conference's five honorees following a 2-0 week.

Loc San was chosen as the conference's Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week, Justin Ingram was named Midfielder of the Week and Chase Vosvick received Goalkeeper of the Week accolades. The Greyhounds (3-1-1 PL, 3-1 South) clinched the No. 1 seed in the South division following victories over Navy (2-0) and Bucknell (2-1). They will host American in a Patriot League semifinal matchup on Wednesday night.

San (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Homeschooled) opened the scoring in Loyola's win at Bucknell on Saturday, as he put home a rebound 13:34 into the first half for his second goal in four games this spring. He also played a key role in Wednesday's triumph at Navy, drawing a penalty in the 79th minute which led to the Greyhounds' second goal to seal the victory. These are San's second and third weekly awards, as he was previously named Offensive Player of the Week back on March 30.

Ingram (Indianapolis, Ind./Pike) factored in three of Loyola's four goals on the week. He had a goal and an assist at Navy, curling a cross into the box which was put home by Albert Kang in the 15th minute and clinching the win from the penalty spot with 11:17 left in regulation. Ingram added another assist on Saturday, as it was his initial shot attempt which led to San's opener in the first half. This is the second career weekly honor for Ingram, who is tied for the team lead with six points (2 G, 2 A) while starting all five games this spring.

Vosvick (Phoenix, Md./Montverde Academy) went 2-0 with a 0.50 GAA and a .889 save percentage in goal. He recorded his 20th collegiate shutout in the victory over previously unbeaten Navy while making three saves overall. He added a season-high five stops, including three in the second half, to help the Greyhounds hold off Bucknell. Now a seven-time Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week, Vosvick is 32-17-5 with a 1.03 GAA and .724 save percentage in 55 appearances overall at Loyola.

Evan Peters, who had a key team save for Loyola late in the second half of Saturday's at Bucknell, was included among those receiving honorable mention award recognition for the week.

The conference is scheduled to release its All-Patriot League awards for the season tomorrow afternoon. Loyola's semifinal matchup against American will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Ridley Athletic Complex.
