BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League released its all-conference and major award winners for men's soccer on Tuesday afternoon, with Loyola University Maryland accounting for half of the conference's six major award winners.

Sam Brown (Offensive Player of the Year), Justin Ingram (Midfielder of the Year) and Chase Vosvick (Goalkeeper of the Year) all took home major awards, and they made up half of Loyola's six All-Patriot League honorees. Kelan Swales joins Ingram and Vosvick on the first team, Brown and Jonathan Sousa receive second team accolades and Jacob Denison lands on the third team.

The Greyhounds (3-1-1 PL, 3-1 South) earned the top seed in the Patriot League South division following victories over Navy and Bucknell in the season's final week. They will host American in a Patriot League semifinal at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night, with the winner taking on either Lafayette or Holy Cross in Saturday's championship game.

Brown (Media, Pa./Penncrest) is tied for the team lead with six points this spring. He scored goals in each of Loyola's two regular season games against American, and added assists on the Greyhounds' game-winning goals in victories over Lehigh and Navy. A four-year starter who was previously a second team All-Patriot League honoree in 2018, Brown has totaled 24 points (8 G, 8 A) in 59 collegiate appearances. He is the first Greyhound to be named Offensive Player of the Year since Loyola joined the Patriot League in 2013.

Ingram (Indianapolis, Ind./Pike) becomes the program's fourth Midfielder of the Year after Barry Sharifi had earned the award in each of the previous three seasons. He is tied with Brown for the team lead in points, contributing two goals and two assists this spring. Ingram scored a highlight-reel goal direct off his own corner kick to open the scoring against Lehigh on March 27, and he supplied a goal and an assist in Loyola's 2-0 win at previously-unbeaten Navy. His final assist came on the Greyhounds' opening goal in their playoff-clinching 2-1 victory at Bucknell. Previously a second team All-Patriot League recipient in 2019, Ingram has 17 points (5 G, 7 A) in 24 appearances at Loyola.

Vosvick (Phoenix, Md./Montverde Academy) is chosen as the Patriot League's top goalkeeper for a third time in four collegiate seasons, and he becomes the program's third four-time All-Patriot League honoree. He has played every minute in goal this spring, totaling a 3-1-1 record with 13 saves, a 0.92 goals-against average and a .722 save percentage. Vosvick's clean sheet at Navy was the 20th of his Loyola career, and he supplied a season-high five saves to help the Greyhounds hold off Bucknell last weekend.

Swales (Leeds, England/Cardinal Heenan Catholic) has made an immediate impact after joining the program as a transfer from Appalachian State. He has a team-high three assists this spring, setting up both of Loyola's goals against American and adding another helper on Loc San's double-overtime winner against Lehigh. Swales has appeared in all five games this season, earning starts in three of those contests and leading the team with 13 shots.

Sousa (Rockville, Md./Rockville) receives his second postseason honor from the Patriot League. Previously a third team selection in 2018, Sousa is one of seven Greyhounds to start every game this season. He contributes to a backline which has surrendered just five goals and 44 shots on the year. A four-year starter, Sousa has totaled nine points (2 G, 5 A) in 58 collegiate appearances, earning starts in 54 of those contests.

Denison (Gaithersburg, Md./Bullis School) is the lone Loyola player to start every game over the past two seasons. A regular presence at center back, he played every minute in each of the first four games this season before an injury limited his time in the second half at Bucknell. Denison was previously a two-time Academic All-Patriot League selection in 2018 and 2019. He has earned starts in 39 of his 47 collegiate appearances overall.

The Greyhounds will be making their fifth-straight Patriot League tournament appearance on Wednesday, as they look to advance to the conference's championship game for the first time. A limited number of fans, restricted to home player guests, will be allowed at Ridley Athletic Complex for the game.

This will be the first playoff meeting between Loyola and American, which returns to the postseason for the first time since 2016. American rallied for a 2-1 double-overtime victory in Loyola's season opener on March 20, while the teams played to a 1-1 draw in Washington, D.C. on April 3.
