ANNAPOLIS, Md. –
Patrick Hayburn,
Mya Sharkey and the men's 200-yard freestyle relay team all had top-four finishes Friday as the men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed on the first day of the 2022 ECAC Championships.
Hayburn logged a third-place individual finish in the men's 50-yard freestyle, swimming 20.27 seconds in the final.

Jack Inman,
Alex Grahor and
Jared Copeland also took third in their event with a time of 1:22.26.
Sharkey scored 225.45 points in the women's 3-meter diving event to finish fourth as one of two Greyhounds to score;
Lily Bistline took eighth with 177.05 points. In the men's diving competition,
Jack Still was sixth in the 1-meter discipline, scoring 242 points.

Remmi Shaw,
Emily Colyar and
Maggie Manchester combined to swim 1:38.24 in the women's 200-yard freestyle for a ninth-place finish. Later in the evening, Manchester,
Allison Wade,
Brayden Bowen and Colyar were 11
th in the women's 400-yard medley relay in 3:59.76.
Zach Reid was 15
th in the men's 500-yard freestyle (4:40.04).
After 12 scored events, the men are seventh out of 18 teams with 63 points, while the women are ninth of 17 with 56.
Preliminaries begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, and the second night of finals starts at 6 o'clock.
