CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. –
Mike Crowley's 2-over through 34 holes on Monday at the University of Virginia's Lewis Chitengwa Memorial Tournament led the Loyola University Maryland golf team during a second round that was suspended due to darkness.
The sophomore shot 2-under in the first round and was 4-over through 16 holes of the second before play was called for the evening. Through 34 holes, he is tied for 39th.
Carlo Pizzano and
Brandon Berry both shot even-par 72s in the first round and are now 53rd and tied for 59th, respectively, at 4- and 6-over par.
Jackson Roman is 2-over through 16 holes in his second round and is 7-over overall to tie for 65th.
Matt Malits shot 4-over in the first round and is at 4-over, as well, through 15 in the second round to sit in a tie for 71st. Playing as an individual,
Brett Inserra has shot 3-under through 16 holes in the round and is 7-over in all.
Play in the third round will resume at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday with a shotgun start to complete the second round.
