BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola University Maryland women's tennis rallied from an early deficit on Friday to win four singles matches for a 4-2 win over Bucknell University, securing a spot in the Patriot League Semifinals for the first time in program history.

Abby Decker and
Genevieve Wurtz lifted the Greyhoudns with singles victories after the Bison took the early lead with the doubles point.
The Greyhounds, who earned the No. 4 seed, their highest since joining the conference in 2014, will play top-seeded Boston University in a semifinal match at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Bucknell came out of doubles with a point as Daniela Bellini and Whitney King beat
Olivia Tracey and
Anna Rico, 6-3, at No. 1, and Tyne Miller and Laurel Utterback won 6-4 over Manwiller and Bodewes.
Manwiller delivered the first point for the Greyhounds, evening the match at 1-1, with a 6-4, 6-0 victory against Miller, and Wurtz then put the Greyhounds ahead, 2-1, by beating Kate Novak, 6-0, 6-3, at No. 6 singles.
Bodewes also delivered a straight-sets win over Utterback, 6-2, 6-1, for a point for the Greyhounds at No. 4 singles, but Bucknell got back within one, 3-2, soon thereafter. Bellini outlasted Tracey, 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 at No. 1 singles for the Bison point.
Decker went up a set on Anna Lajos, winning the opening frame, 7-6 (6), but Lajos came back with a 2-6 victory in the second to even the No. 5 match. Decker, however, pulled away for a 6-3 win in the third to clinch the Greyhounds' first Patriot League Championships win in program history.
