BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Top-seeded Boston University won the doubles point and then three singles matches on Saturday, topping Loyola University Maryland, 4-0, in women's tennis action in the Greyhounds' first-ever berth in the Patriot League Semifinals.
Erica DiBattista and Emily Kim won the No. 1 doubles match, 6-3, of the Greyhounds'
Olivia Tracey and
Anna Rico. Victoria Carlsten and Michelle Kleynerman then got past
Abby Decker and
Genevieve Wurtz, 6-2, at No. 3.
In singles play, Carlsetn took the No. 1 match, 6-1, 6-3, against Tracey, and DiBattista was a 6-0, 6-1 winner against Rico at No. 3. Kleynerman picked up the other point for the Terriers with a 6-2, 6-1 win over
Jessica Bodewes at No. 4.
The Greyhounds will wrap up their season on Sunday, April 24, with an 11 a.m. match against Harford C.C.
