Sutton Joins Loyola Tennis As Assistant Coach

BALTIMORE – Cole Sutton has joined the Loyola University Maryland men's and women's tennis programs as an assistant coach, the Greyhounds new head coach, Josh Eventoff, announced today.
 
Sutton, who was a member of the 2018 NCAA Division III National Championship Team at Middlebury College, has recently served as the associate head coach at Gilman School and as an assistant tennis professional at Hunt Valley Country Club.
 
A native of the Baltimore area who attended Gilman, Sutton returned to his hometown after helping the Panthers capture the national team title his junior year. He graduated from the Vermont school in May 2019 with a bachelor of arts in mathematics and minors in computer science and Spanish.
 
He was a team captain as a senior in 2019 and a part of two NESCAC championship teams as the Panthers won their league title in 2016 and 2019. During his prep career at Gilman, Sutton was a four-year varsity player and led the Greyhounds to the MIAA title in 2014 and 2015.
