Bethlehem, PA -- The Loyola Maryland women's basketball held the Lehigh Mountain Hawks to a season low of 53 points after four quarters, but the Mountain Hawks hit a three-pointer to force overtime. In overtime, the Mountain Hawks used an 11-0 run to pull away from the Greyhounds, as the Greyhounds dropped their fourth straight 72-65.Â
Ella Stemmer began the overtime period with a three-pointer for the Mountain Hawks.

Taleah Dixon knocked down a jump-shot on the following possession to give the Greyhounds an 58-56 lead, with 3:45 remaining in overtime. Over the next 3:07, the Mountain Hawks used an 11-0 run to pull away from the Greyhounds as they led 67-58. The Greyhounds mounted a late comeback attempt, but was too late as the Mountain Hawks iced the game from the free-throw line.Â
Lex Therien scored the first seven points of the fourth quarter for the Greyhounds, as they took their first lead of the game with 9:20 left in the fourth quarter. After another Therien layup, the Greyhounds took a five point lead with 2:57 remaining. After the Mountain Hawks re-took the lead with 1:18 left,
Taleah Dixon knocked down a three-pointer, as the Greyhounds led 49-48 with :44 seconds remaining.Â
Mackenzie Kramer scored on the ensuing possession for the Mountain Hawks, but Dixon responded with another jumper to take a one-point lead with :27 seconds left. After forcing a missed shot, Dixon hit both free-throws to take a three point lead with :07 seconds remaining. Coming out of a timeout, Kramer knocked down a three-pointer with :1.4 seconds remaining to force overtime.Â
Lex Therien scored a career and game-high 28 points on the night, while adding 15 rebounds on the night. 13 of Therien's 28 points came in the fourth quarter and overtime.Â
Taleah Dixon added 14 points on the night, with nine coming in the fourth quarter and overtime.Â
Koi Sims had 12 rebounds on the night, while added four assists.Â
The Greyhounds defense came out firing in the third quarter, as they held the Mountain Hawks to just six points, on 2-13 shooting and 0-7 shooting from three-point lead. The Greyhounds managed to cut their lead down to one point at the end of the quarter, as they trailed 34-33 going into the fourth quarter.Â
The Mountain Hawks led by as many as seven points early in the second quarter, before the Greyhounds went on a 6-0 run to trail by one point with 5:34 left in the quarter. The Greyhounds managed to keep it close to close out the quarter, but the Mountain Hawks hit a pair of free-throws to head into halftime up 28-23.Â
The Mountain Hawks started strong in the first, jumping out to a 10-5 lead.
Bri Rozzi knocked down a three-pointer, followed by a driving layup on back-to-back possessions to tie the game at 10-10 with 3:36 remaining. The Mountain Hawks managed to scored at the buzzer to end the first quarter, up 16-12.Â
The Greyhounds will return home on Saturday, as they host Boston University in Reitz Arena at 2:00 PM.
