She was one of eight defenders honored to be named a Tewaaraton Award Top-25 Semifinalist this season. The three-time Patriot League Defender of the Year, three-time all-region honoree and four-time all-conference selection, Detwiler has captained the second ranked defense in the NCAA, as the Greyhounds are allowing just 6.63 goals per game. Detwiler has been tasked with guarding some of the top players in the country, including two fellow Tewaaraton Award Nominees, as Detwiler held Emma LoPinto without a point and Meaghan Tyrrell to two goals, with one of them being a free position goal. She has also held Army's Brigid Duffy without a shot, and Georgetown's Erin Bakes scoreless.
Wilson is a true two-way defender, who also leads the team at the draw. She's helped the team rank seventh in the country in goals and first in the NCAA in draw control percentage. Wilson also ranks fourth in the NCAA in draw controls per game. A Tewaaraton Award Top-25 Semifinalist and two-time Patriot League Midfielder of the Year, leads the team in goals, with 55, third in points, with 71, caused turnovers, with 17, and draw controls, with 180.
Black is making her first appearance on the All-Mid-Atlantic Region team after having a standout season for the Greyhounds. Black is second on the team in goals, with 50, and second on the team in points, with 84. With a .495 shooting percentage, she has helped the Greyhounds boast the sixth best team in the NCAA in shooting efficiency. The first team All-Patriot League selection has scored all but two points in every game this season, recording 10 hat-tricks, including her current five-straight hat-trick streak. She has also had five multi-assist performances and six five-plus point games.
Spence picks up her first all-region accolade after being the top-ranked goalkeeper in the Patriot League in goals allowed this season. Ranking second nationally with a 6.69 goals against average and third nationally with a .534 save percentage. Spence has held 15 of 19 opponents to single-digit goals on the season, including the last six opponents, and 11 of 12 opponents during their 12-game win streak. Spence was voted as the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year for the first time in her career. She posted six wins over nationally ranked opponents this year, two double-digit save performances, and 17 shutout quarters.
Latch earned her second all-region accolade this season after leading the Greyhounds in assists, with 41, and points, with 84. The Patriot League Attacker of the Year, two-time All-Mid-Atlantic Region honoree, and two-time First Team All-Patriot League honoree scored at least two points in all but two games this season, including scoring a hat-trick in eight games and multiple assist performances in 12 games.
Boyle, a Patriot League Second Team All-League selection, earns her first All-Mid-Atlantic Region honor. The Rumson, NJ., native is third on the team with 46 goals on the season. In 19 starts this season, Boyle has scored at least one goal in ever game this season, including scoring multiple goals in 14 games this year. Boyle set a career-high with five goals in a game, which she did three times this season.
Olmstead, a senior from Painted Post, N.Y., earned her first All-Mid-Atlantic Region accolade, being named to the second team. Olmstead has been a key piece of the Greyhounds defense, as she has drawn a match-up in all 19 games, holding five conference individual opponents scoreless, as the Greyhounds defense ranks second in the NCAA with 6.63 goals allowed per game.
The Greyhounds will open their NCAA Tournament play on Friday when they host Fairfield in the first round. Opening draw is scheduled for 3 p.m.
