Welcome to the Greyhounds
- The Greyhounds welcome 17 newcomers to the roster in 2023, which includes three transfers and 14 Freshman.

Rolando Onu (Kent, England) transferred to the Greyhounds after two standout seasons at Eastern Florida State College.

Caden Stafford (Cincinnatus, NY) transferred to the Greyhounds after spending one season at Maryland. Stafford was named to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team after scoring three goals and tallying two assists.

Dylan Van der Walt (San Antonio, TX) joins the Greyhounds after spending his freshman season at Rutgers.
- The freshman class features players from five different states and two countries outside of the United States (
Ben Schouten: Canada,
Chris Ogor: England).
Scouting Bucknell
- The Bison come into the matchup with an 1-6-1 (0-2) record on the season, with their lone win coming against Mount St. Mary's in their season opener.
- They lost their first two Patriot League games to Army (2-1) and to Navy (1-0).
- Charlie Holmes leads the team with two goals on the season, as he also leads a group of seven Bison who have an assist on the season.
- Freddie Lapworth has started seven games in goal, tallying 12 saves on 58 shots faced with an 1.75 GAA and a .500 save percentage.
- The Bison are coming off of an 3-12-2 (2-5-2) record during the 2022 season.
- In the Patriot League Preseason Poll, the Bison were picked to finish in ninth place, receiving 37 points. Only Holy Cross (22 points) were picked to finish below the Bison.
