Bethlehem -- The Patriot League announced the Player of the Week awards on Tuesday afternoon, as Loyola University Maryland's
Lex Therien was named Player of the Week following her big week for the Greyhounds.
This is Therien's second player of week award of her career, and first one during the 2023-24 season.
Therien led the Greyhounds with 27 points in their come from behind win over Delaware State on Saturday afternoon. She scored 12 of her 27 points in the fourth quarter, as she led the Greyhounds 16-point fourth quarter comeback. In total, Therien shot 13-18 from the field to go along with seven rebounds, four steals, and three assists.
Therien also scored her 1,000th career point in the third quarter, becoming the 24th player in program history to reach the mark, doing so in just 70 games.
The Greyhounds begin conference play on Wednesday, as they host Colgate at 7:00 PM.
