Bethlehem -- The Patriot League announced their weekly player of the week awards on Monday afternoon, as Loyola University Maryland's
Oscar Halls was named the Defensive and Rookie of the Week.
This is Halls' first weekly award of his career.
Halls played in and started both games last week, playing in all 90 minutes in both games. The Greyhounds began the week against St. John's picking up a 1-0 road win. They followed it up with a 2-1 win over Colgate, where Halls scored his first career goal and game-winning goal off of a header on a corner kick. Halls played a key role in holding the Raiders to just six shots in the game, as Loyola gave Colgate their first Patriot League loss of the season.
