Lewisburg – Bucknell University started the fourth quarter with a 11-0 run, as they outscored the Loyola University Maryland women's basketball team 26-12 in the fourth quarter to pick up the Patriot League win, 74-56.
Meliah Van-Otoo hit her second jump shot of the third quarter, as she drew the Greyhounds (14-13 overall, 9-7 Patriot League) to within seven points. The Bison (11-16 overall, 8-8 Patriot League) scored on their ensuing two possessions, to retake a 12-point lead.
Van-Otoo stayed hot, as she scored on back-to-back possessions, to trim their deficit to eight points. A
Kimmie Hicks layup and another Van-Otoo basket at the buzzer capped off a 8-0 run to finish the third quarter, as Loyola trailed by four heading into the fourth quarter.
Bucknell started the fourth quarter fast, jumping out to a 15-point lead with 5:24 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Ava Therien hit a jumper to end the 11-0 Bison run, to cut their deficit back down to 13-points.

Kelly Ratigan hit her first three of the game, but Loyola could not cut their deficit to within 12-points, as the Bison went on to win 74-56.
Laura Salmeron led the Greyhounds with 18 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Meliah Van-Otoo added 15 points off the bench on 7-11 shooting.
Grace Sullivan scored a career-high 28 points for the Bison to go along with a game-high 10 rebounds.
Loyola will be back in action on Saturday, as they will travel to face the Army West Point Black Knights in a pivotal matchup for Patriot League seeding.
