WEST POINT, N.Y. – The U.S. Naval Academy advanced to the semifinals of the 2024 Patriot League Men's Tennis Championships on Friday afternoon, topping Loyola Unviersity Maryland, 4-0.
Luke Garner and Sasha Panyan beat
Oliver Davey and
Nick Haggar, 6-0, in No. 1 doubles, and Herrick Legaspi and Nathan Nguyen turned back
Matt Cardano and
Cristian Pemueller, 6-0, at No. 3.
Panyan then beat Cardano, 6-1, 6-0, in No. 1 singles, and Legaspi was a 6-0, 6-1 winner against Haggar at No. 2. Aniketh Ayinala closed out the match with a 6-1, 6-0 win over
Ryan Boland at No. 6 singles.
