BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point men's tennis won the doubles point and then went on to take the first three singles matches to conclude, beating Loyola University Maryland, 4-0, in the Patriot League Quarterfinals.
Jack Hanna and Daniel Choi got past
Nick Lawliss and
Ryan Gill, 6-4, in No. 1 doubles, and Tucker Culpepper and Marcus Sebastian took a 6-2 decision over
Dylan Koziol and
Blake Edwards at No. 3.
Loyola's
Petter Hagen and
Louis Moldenhauer led Alan Ton and Jimin Jung, 6-5, when the doubles point was decided.
In singles play, Matias Feoli beat
Blake Edwards, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 4, and Hanna was a 6-1, 6-0 winner against Lawliss at No. 5. Culpepper downed
Dylan Coonerty, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 6 to clinch the match.
Hagen and Moldenhauer each won their first sets in singles before play was halted.
