Bethlehem -- The Patriot League Announced their last weekly awards for women's lacrosse, as Loyola University Maryland's
Chase Boyle and
Lauren Spence earned Player of the Week honors.
Boyle earned her league-high sixth Midfielder of the Week award, while Spence earned her third Goalkeeper of the Week, tied for the most this season.
Boyle capped off the regular season with another big game, as she tallied six goals and one assist for her third seven-point game of the season. She also added 13 draw controls, two ground balls, and one caused turnover on the day, as the Greyhounds defeated Bucknell, 16-5 in the regular season finale, as the Greyhounds secured their 8th straight Regular Season championship.
Spence put together one of her best games in goal this season, as she tallied six saves in 41 minutes of game-time, as she held the Bison to 0 goals while in the game. It was her third straight game with at least six saves.
The Greyhounds will host the Patriot League Championships this weekend, as they will play No. 6 Lehigh at 3:00 PM. The winner will play the winner of No. 2 Navy and No. 4 Holy Cross on Saturday at 2:30 PM in the Championship game, that will be broadcast on CBS Network.
