WEST POINT, N.Y. –
Kacy Sekunda posted her sixth triple-double of the 2025 season on Saturday night for Loyola University Maryland, but the U.S. Military Academy held off the Greyhounds for a 25-17, 21-25, 25-14, 25-22 Patriot League victory.
Sekunda finished with 13 kills, 15 assists and 17 digs while putting up a season-high six blocks, as well.
The Greyhounds held the Black Knights to a -.023 hitting percentage in the second set to even the match at one set apiece, but Army West Point came back to win the final two frames.
Mariah Sanabia had a solo block to get Loyola within one, 22-21, in the fourth set, and she teamed with Sekunda for another block to tie it at 22-22.
Army West Point, however, came back to win the final three points and take the match.
Sanabia also finished with six total blocks, a season-best.
Morgan Crawford totaled eight kills, while
Riley Hamilton added seven and 11 digs.
Addie Huber had 16 digs, as well.
Loyola will return home on Saturday, October 18, to face the Black Knights again, in a 4 p.m. match.
