Bethlehem -- The Patriot League announced their weekly awards on Monday afternoon, as Loyola University Maryland's
Brandon Meminger and
Connor O'Keefe were named Players of the Week.
This is the first time either player has earned a player of the week award, as Meminger was named Defensive Player of the Week and O'Keefe was named the Goalkeeper of the Week.
Meminger scored his first goal of the season, as he scored the game-winning goal against Colgate on Saturday. Meminger got the ball from a sliding pass from
Charlie Herley, as his shot went near post to beat the goalkeeper for the goal. Meminger also helped the Greyhounds defense limit the Raiders offense, as they had only five shots on goal on Saturday.
O'Keefe recorded his second shutout of the season, as he recorded five saves in the win. O'Keefe made a pair of saves over the last ten minutes of the game, along with several other plays, to keep the Raiders scoreless in the win.
Loyola will host Navy on Saturday afternoon for another crucial Patriot League matchup for Senior Day.
