BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola University Maryland graduate student Kacy Sekunda earned a spot on the All-Patriot League Second Team Monday, the second year in a row she has been honored during the League's postseason honors.
 
Sekunda wrapped up her Loyola career with 2,296 assists, 776 kills and 968 digs during the 106 matches and 388 sets she played. Her assists total ranks eighth all-time in program history.
 
She graduated in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences and played this year while pursuing her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.
 
Sekunda, who was also named to the Academic All- finished the 2025 season as the Greyhounds' leader in kills (265) and kills per set (2.94) while finishing third on the team in digs (195 total, 2.17 per set) and assists (296, 3.29).
 
The Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, native had double-digit kills totals in 16 of the 23 matches she played in 2025, while posting six triple-doubles with 10 or more kills, assists and digs. She finished her career with 19 triple doubles.
