ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Loyola University Maryland women's tennis competed at the Navy Hidden Duals on November 1-2, facing off against Johns Hopkins, Towson, and Navy in a series of doubles and singles matches.

In its opening matchup, Loyola fell to Johns Hopkins, 7–0. In doubles play, Sophia Kim and Sydney Langer of Johns Hopkins edged Christine Richiez and Victoria Epps, 7–5. Sahona Madala and Jay Xiao defeated Emi Shivkumar and Kate Agnew, 6–2, while Aubrey Zhou and Karah Li topped Lily Langhus and Katie Moorhead, 6–1.

In singles, Sahana Sanjeev beat Richiez, 6–4, 6–3; Claire Loftus defeated Epps, 7–6 (3), 6–3; Lia Melvin cruised past Agnew, 6–0, 6–2; Kamila Wong overcame Langhus, 7–6, 6–3; Ava Li topped Sabrina Grewal, 6–0, 6–0; and Isabel He got past Moorhead, 6–0, 6–0.

Against Towson, Loyola dropped the match 6–1 but earned doubles and singles wins. Richiez and Epps defeated the Tigers' Kiersten Tambe and Chandre Boshoff, 6–4. Towson claimed the other two doubles matches, with Tamzin Poutney and Aubrey Carper beating Shivkumar and Agnew, 6–2, and Gaia Montecchi and Jocelynn Ginsberg topping Langhus and Grewal, 6–2.

Moorhead earned the Greyhounds' singles win, beating Sofia Anderson, 6-3, 6-1. Montecchi defeated Richiez, 6–2, 6–3; Poutney beat Epps, 6–1, 6–1; Ashira Murray downed Agnew, 6–4, 6–2; Sania Suchinsky topped Langhus, 6–2, 6–2; and Chloe Courtnage beat Grewal, 6–1, 6–1. 

In its final matchup, Navy edged Loyola in doubles play here Jina Cha and Manci Pal defeated Richiez and Epps, 6–4; Grace Li and Anna Wiskowski beat Shivkumar and Agnew, 6–3; and Peyton Amspacher-Philemon and Jin Soo Oh took down Langhus and Grewal, 6–3.
