Baltimore -- The Patriot League announced their Preseason All-League Team and Coaches Poll on Wednesday afternoon, as Loyola University Maryland's Jordy Luches was named to the Preseason All-League team.
Luchies, a two-time First Team All-League honoree and 2024 Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year, enters his final season with the Greyhounds, having played in 59 career games, starting in 57 of them. Luchies has recorded five goals and seven assists for the Greyhounds during his time and was a member of the 2021 Patriot League Championship team that reached the NCAA Tournament.
The Greyhounds were picked to finish in fourth in the coaches poll, receiving 54 points in the poll. Boston University was picked first, finishing with 70 points and 4 first place votes. Bucknell was picked second, with 70 points and 4 first place votes, while American was picked third with 67 points and two first place votes. Colgate and Lehigh were picked to finish in fifth and sixth place respectively, as Navy and Lafayette were tied to finish for seventh. Army West Point and Holy Cross rounded out the poll, picked to finish in ninth and tenth respectively.
