Bethlehem -- The Patriot League announced their weekly awards on Monday afternoon, as Loyola University Maryland's
Zoe Willis was named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week.
This is Willis' second weekly award of the season and the third of her career.
Willis played all 90 minutes on Saturday afternoon, as she led the Greyhounds backline to their second shutout of the season. Willis and the Greyhounds defense held Hofstra to just six shots on the afternoon, which was their second lowest total of the season. The Pride were also held to just three corner kicks on the afternoon, all of which came in the second half.
Loyola returns to Ridley on Thursday, as they host George Mason at 6:00 PM.
