  • Loyola is set to face off against Army on Thursday evening in the Patriot League Semifinals.
  • This is the second matchup between the teams this season, with Army winning the first matchup, 18-10.
  • This will be the second meeting in the Patriot League Championships, as Loyola won the 2023 Championship game, 13-8.

  • Mae Murphy has taken the reigns in the draw circle from Chase Boyle, as Murphy has 225 draws through 18 games. She broke the Division I, Loyola, and Patriot League single-season Freshman draw control records, while also breaking the Loyola single-season record.
  • Jen Adams is back for her 18th season at the helm of the Greyhounds. They have compiled a 80-21 record since the beginning of the 2022 season, which includes five NCAA Tournament wins. She won her 250th career game in the win over Colgate.

Record Tracking
  • Elisa Faklaris comes off of a career-best 2025 season. With a four-goal game against Bucknell, she scored her 100th career goal, as she eclipsed 100 career points in the win against Boston earlier this season.
  • For her career, Faklaris has a .577 shooting percentage, as she was towards the tops in Division I last season with a .637 percentage.
  • Mae Murphy broke the Loyola single-season draw record, recently held by Chase Boyle (210), who set the mark last season.

Greyhounds In The NCAA Tournament
  • Last season was the seventh straight trip to the NCAA Tournament (excluding 2020) for the Greyhounds, as they have won at least one game in the tournament in six of those trips.
  • Loyola reached the NCAA Quarterfinals in 2022 and 2023, after they won their First and Second Round games at Loyola.
  • Last season, Loyola lost to Stony Brook in the First Round.

More on Suares-Jury
  • Mim Suares-Jury is coming off of a strong freshman campaign, as she scored 26 goals, 11 assists, 25 ground balls, 16 caused turnovers, and 17 draw controls.
  • Suares-Jury also found success at the international level, playing with the Austrailian National Team at the The 2025 World Games, winning a bronze medal.
  • Suares-Jury has had another strong season, as she has 32 goals, 20 assists, 22 ground balls, 9 caused turnovers, and 48 draws this season.

Scouting Army

  • Allison Reilly and Brigid Duffy were named the Patriot League Offensive and Midfielder of the Year, respectively.
  • Reilly leads the league and is tied first nationally with 67 assists, while also leading the league while ranking third nationally with 108 points. Duffy is tied for the league lead in goals with 62, while also leading caused turnovers with 45 this season.
  • Sarah Chernik leads the team from the circle with 78 draws this season.
  • In goal, Lindsey Serafine has started every game, tallying 116 saves, a .450 save percentage, and a 9.30 GAA.

Patriot League Honors
  • The Greyhounds placed six players on the Patriot League All-League teams, as Mae Murphy was named Rookie of the Year.
  • Murphy was also named to the First Team, as she was joined by Morgan Quade and Mim Suares-Jury on the First Team.
  • On the second team, Lauren Perfetto, Elisa Faklaris, and Cydney Lisk were all named.
  • Quade was also named the Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Scholar Athlete of the Year, as Ava Kane was also named to the Academic Team.

Loyola's Senior Class
  • Loyola honored their senior class after their game against Colgate.
  • Through their four years on the Evergreen, the seniors have compiled a 61-19 (.766) record, which includes a 34-2 Patriot League record.
  • They have also reached the NCAA Tournament in each of their first three seasons, while also winning the Patriot League Regular Season Championship each three years, and winning the Patriot League Championship twice.
  • Loyola's seven seniors have combined to play in 297 games entering the game, including 186 starts. All seven have played at least 25 games in their career and have played significant roles this season.

Dominance From The Circle
  • Loyola's 69.9% on draw controls last season ranks as the best percentage in Division I since draw percentage was tracked starting in 2018-19, while their 20.6 draws per game was the most in a full season since draws became a stat in 1999.
  • The Greyhounds have finished with the best draw control percentage in two of the last three seasons ('25, '23), while ranking in the top three in each of the last four seasons.
  • Mae Murphy will look to follow in the footsteps of Taryn and Taylor VanThof, Livy Rosenzweig, Jillian Wilson, and Chase Boyle, who have set a history of excellence at the draw since 2011.
  • Entering Saturday's matchup, the Greyhounds rank first in draw control percentage (68.3%) and first in draws per game (17.5).
  • The Greyhounds have boasted one of the top draw units over the past 10 seasons, in large part due to assistant coach Dana Dobbie, who coaches the draw and was one of the top players on the draw during her career.
