Biography

2022 (Graduate Student): Returns to the Greyhounds as a graduate student after earning his Bachelor of Arts in political science in May 2021… Is Loyola’s all-time leader in goals scored with 158 entering the 2022 season… Team co-captain.
 
2021 (Senior): Named to the USILA All-America Honorable Mention and earned All-Patriot League First Team recognition after leading the Greyhounds and the Patriot League with 42 goals… Also named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team and the conference’s Academic Honor Roll… Had a career-high eight assists for 50 total points… Started the year with three goals, including the game-winner in overtime, at Richmond and was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week… Followed that performance with four goals against Virginia and three versus Utah… Scored seven goals and had an assist against Bucknell, again earning the conference’s weekly recognition… Scored three tiems and had two assists at Navy… Posted three goals in three-straight games, versus Navy at home, at Lafayette and home versus Georgetown…. Set the school career scoring record in the Patriot League Quarterfinal game against Navy… Scored a goal and had two assists in the Patriot League Semifinal versus Army West Point… Had two goals against both Denver and Duke in the NCAA Tournament.

2020 (Junior): Led the Greyhounds during the shortened season with 19 goals... Started the year with a pair of goals at Virginia... Named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week after scoring four goals in a win over Johns Hopkins... Posted another four goals versus Towson and then had six and an assist n less than three full quarters of action at Lafayette... Scored twice versus Duke... Preseason Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year... Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2019 (Sophomore): Set the school single-season goals scored record with 60, breaking Eric Lusby’s 2012 mark of 54… Finished third in NCAA Division I in both goals and goals per game (3.53)… Earned USILA All-America Honorable Mention… Named All-Patriot League Frist Team and earned a spot on the Academic All-Patriot League Team… Led the Patriot League in shooting percentage (.444)… Averaged 5.0 goals in the Greyhounds’ first five games of the year, scoring five against Virginia, four versus both Johns Hopkins and Rutgers and six at Towson and versus Holy Cross… Had five against Navy and then turned in a 10-point, 8-goal performance against Colgate, earning USILA Team of the Week and Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week honors after the game against the Raiders… Posted six goals at Georgetown to go with an assist and then tallied four at Boston University… Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2018 (Freshman): Tied for third among NCAA Division I freshman in goals scored (37)… Second on the team in goals and third in total points (41)… Named to the Patriot League All-Tournament Team… Tied Pat Spencer’s 2017 record for goals by a Loyola freshman… Shot 52.1 percent to lead the Patriot League and finish fourth in NCAA Division I in that statistical category… Tied for fifth overall in the Patriot League in goals and seventh in goals per game (2.18)… Together with Aidan Olmstead, formed the only freshman duo on NCAA Division I to both post 35 or more points… Scored his first collegiate points, finishing with three on two goals and an assist against Lafayette (2/24)… Followed that with three goals against Towson (2/28)… Set a Patriot League and Loyola freshman record with eight goals at Holy Cross (3/4)… Also had an assist against the Crusaders… The eight goals ranked second in Loyola history and are tied for second in Patriot League history… Earned USILA Team of the Week and Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors after the 11-goal week against Towson and Holy Cross… Posted three goals on four shots against Bucknell (3/24)… Scored twice at Lehigh (4/7)… Posted two goals and an assist versus both Boston University (4/14) and Army West Point (4/20) in the final two regular-season games… Scored on eight of his nine shots in the Patriot League Championships, scoring five goals against Boston University (4/27) in the semifinal before tallying three goals in the title game against Lehigh (4/29)… Followed those performances with four goals on five shots against Virginia in the NCAA First Round (5/12)… Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Darien (Conn.) High School where he was a four-year varsity letterwinner in lacrosse… Named the USLacrosse Northeast Region Player of the Year in 2017 after scoring 106 goals and dishing out 28 assists for the Blue Wave… Led Darien to a perfect 23-0 record and No. 1 postseason ranking in the Under Armour/Inside Lacrosse Top 25 High School Power Rankings… Earned Connecticut State Player of the Year, USLacrosse All-America, All-Connecticut, News12Varsity All-Metro and All-Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC) honors, as well… Set Darien records for career (216) and single-season goals, as well as single-season points (134)… Scored 67 goals and had 31 assists as a junior in 2016 while earning All-Connecticut and All-FCIAC recognition as Darien went 23-0, won the Connecticut Class L title and finished ranked fifth nationally by Under Armour/Inside Lacrosse… Was an All-FCIAC Second Team honoree as a sophomore after scoring 46 goals to go with 12 assists… Played club lacrosse for Eclipse.

Personal: Kevin Bartlett Lindley… Son of Lisa and Pete Lindley… Older brother, Peter, played at Roanoke College where he led the Maroons with 51 goals in 2017 after spending his freshman season at Massachusetts where he was named to the CAA All-Rookie Team… Father, Pete, was captain of the Yale baseball team in 1961… Mother, Lisa, was a student-athlete at UMass where she was a four-time All-American in field hockey and lacrosse… She earned NFHCA All-American honorable mention as a junior in 1986 and first-team honors as a senior in 1987, and she an IWLCA All-American in lacrosse, picking up second-team recognition in 1986 and first-team laurels in 1987.
