Biography

2022 (Graduate Student): Team co-captain… Enters the 2022 season ranked seventh all-time at Loyola with 70 career caused turnovers and 13th with 191 ground balls.
 
2021 (Graduate Student): Earned USILA, Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-America Second-Team recognition as a long-stick midfielder… Named to the All-Patriot League First Team and Patriot League Academic Honor Roll… Finished third on the team with 46 ground balls and tied for second with 19 caused turnovers… Continued to be one of the top players in transition nationally, scoring four goals and assisting on six… Grabbed five ground balls and caused two turnovers at Richmond… Had a goal and an assist at Lehigh.. Scored versus Lafayette at home and then had two assists against Bucknell… Tallied a goal and an assist to go with two caused turnovers at Navy during the regular-season… Picked up six ground balls and had a caused turnover against Army West Point in the Patriot League Semifinal win.

2020 (Senior): Team co-captain... Named to the Inside Lacrosse All-America Second Team following the shortened season... Led the team with 11 caused turnovers and was tops among non-faceoff players with 23 ground balls... Key player in six-on-six defense as Loyola finished seventh nationally in scoring defense (8.67 goals allowed per game) and sixth in clearing percentage (.903)... Caused two turnovers in the season-opener at Virginia... Had a goal and three ground balls a week later against Johns Hopkins... Duplicated those numbers in the third game of the season, a win over Rutgers... Logged two assists, five ground balls and three caused turnovers against Towson... Later that week, had eight ground balls and four caused turnovers in the Patriot League-opener at Lafayette, earing Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week recognition after the games... Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
 
2019 (Junior): Earned USILA All-America Honorable Mention and was named to the All-Patriot League First Team as a long-stick midfielder… Team co-captain… Finished the year with 65 ground balls while leading the team with 25 caused turnovers… Also scored two goals and had two assists… Had three ground balls and three caused turnovers in the season-opening win against Virginia and was then credited with six ground balls and three caused turnovers at Johns Hopkins… Posted six ground balls and a caused turnover at Rutgers, earning Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week honors in the process… Had five ground balls and caused a turnover at Towson… Assisted on two goals in transition against Holy Cross… Posted six ground balls and scored his first goal of the year against Navy… Picked up four ground balls and caused two turnovers versus Lehigh and then matched his season-best with three caused turnovers against Georgetown… Had six ground balls and a caused turnover at Army West Point… Posted four ground balls and two caused turnovers to go with a goal scored in the NCAA First Round win over Syracuse… Had two caused turnovers in the NCAA Quarterfinals against Penn State.

2018 (Sophomore): Led Loyola in ground balls (53) and ground balls per game (3.12) while finishing second on the team in caused turnovers (15)… Also scored four goals and had two assists… Had two ground balls and a caused turnover in the season-opener at Virginia (2/10)… Scored his first collegiate points with a goal and an assist against Lafayette (2/24)… Picked up three ground balls and had a caused turnover against Towson (2/28) and then had seven and one at Holy Cross (3/5)… Posted four ground balls and a caused turnover against Duke (3/10)… Caused three turnovers and picked up four ground balls at Navy (3/17)… Had an assist to go with four ground balls and a caused turnover at Lehigh (4/7)… Three of his goals scored came in the year’s last five games… Scored once and had five ground balls against Boston University (4/14) in the regular-season, and he then scored another to go with six ground balls and a caused turnover versus the Terriers in the Patriot League Semifinal (4/27)… Had a goal, four ground balls and a caused turnover in the NCAA First Round versus Virginia (5/12)… Picked up two ground balls and had a caused turnover against Yale in the NCAA Quarterfinals (5/19)… Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2017 (Freshman): Played in the first two games of the season on the Greyhounds’ rope unit before missing the rest of the year with an injury… Received a medical hardship waiver… Had three ground balls and took a shot in the season-opener against Virginia (2/11)… Also had a ground ball against Johns Hopkins (2/18).

Before Loyola: Earned letters in lacrosse, football and basketball at Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, Pennsylvania… Was a two-time USLacrosse All-American, earning the honor after his junior and senior seasons in 2015 and 2016… As a long-stick midfielder, picked up 503 ground balls and caused 151 turnovers during his career… Was also a terrific transition scorer, finishing his four seasons with 34 goals and 49 assists… Helped the Eagles to a 57-14 record over four seasons, incluing 18-win years his final three seasons… Named to the Under Armour All-American Team as a senior after participating in the Underclass All-America games as a sophomore and junior… Was the Philadelphia Daily News All-Area Player of the Year in 2016 after also being named the Chesmont League Most Valuable Player… Scored 12 goals and assisted on 16 while picking up 136 ground balls and causing 42 turnovers as a senior… Was named the No. 1 defenseman nationally in the Class of 2016 by Inside Lacrosse, earning the No. 4 overall player recognition… Three-time All-State honoree and a four-time All-Chesmont performer… Was the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Player of the Year in 2015 after scoring 10 goals to go with 13 assists, 127 ground balls and 36 caused turnovers… Had eight goals, 14 assists, 123 ground balls and 35 caused turnovers as a sophomore and four goals, six assists, 117 ground balls and 38 caused turnovers in his freshman year… Played club lacrosse for Team ManUp, Mesa Fresh and Freedom… Selected for the U-19 Team USA 108 and played on the FCA National Teams in Orlando, Lake Placid and Vail.
