2021 (Junior): Made 13 appearances on the year, earning starts in Patriot League matchups against Holy Cross (10/9) and Bucknell (10/13) … recorded her first collegiate point in a 2-0 win over Lafayette (10/2) after picking up the primary assist on Kelly Hutton’s game-winner in the first half … played a season-high 56 minutes during a 1-1 draw at Army West Point (9/25) … logged 389 minutes overall on the year.
Spring 2021 (Sophomore): Totaled 95 minutes played across three appearances for the Greyhounds … played a season-high 40 minutes during a key 1-0 victory over Bucknell (3/13), and logged 31 minutes in a 2-1 win over Colgate (3/8) to begin the spring season.
2019 (Freshman): Appeared in 17 of 19 games in her debut collegiate season … totaled three shots and logged 289 minutes … played a season-high 59 minutes at Penn (9/15).
Before Loyola: Played for ÍA in her native Iceland, where she saw action in 22 contests for the club’s first team … helped ÍA’s U-20 team take second in the Islandmót competition … earned ÍA’s top player award at several age group levels … trained with the Icelandic National age-group teams since 2012.
Personal: Is the daughter of Berglind Helga Johannsdottir and Sigfus Aegir Sigfusson … has four siblings, Emilia Ottesen, Bryndis Ottesen, Eythor Atli Geirdal and Morten Ottesen … served as vice president of the student association and president of the charity committee in high school … was also active on the school’s events committee … was one of 15 students out of over 500 applicants at her school to receive a scholarship from Landsbankinn for outstanding academic achievements.
