San Diego, Calif. - Sports marketing and event management leader, Pantheon International, has announced plans to host The FIRST 4 on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the University of San Diego in San Diego, Calif. This is the second annual spring invitational of Division I men's college lacrosse in the state of California and first ever Division I lacrosse competition at Torero Stadium.
Four of the nation's top ranked teams will meet in the doubleheader with the 2005 NCAA Championship Finalist, Duke, meeting the Greyhounds of Loyola, followed by the 2004 NCAA Championship Finalist, Navy Midshipmen, facing off against Bucknell.
The D-I doubleheader is the finale to two days of lacrosse action that will showcase the five top ranked high school teams in Northern and Southern California in the "High School Challenge". This year's event will also include two highly anticipated College Club games featuring four regional rivals. Complete game schedule is as follows:
