2010-2011 Loyola University Maryland Men's Basketball Schedule
Baltimore, Md. - Loyola University Maryland's men's basketball will open the 2010-2011 regular season with three straight home games for the first time since it went full-time Division I in 1981-1982 as part of a 29-game schedule announced today by Greyhounds seventh-year head coach Jimmy Patsos.
Loyola commences its 101st season of men's basketball by hosting Drexel (Nov. 12), UMBC (Nov. 17) and Dartmouth (Nov. 21) before it plays its first road contest of the season on November 24 at Vermont. Other highlights are three games during December near our nation's capital - at George Mason (Dec. 08), at Georgetown (Dec. 18) and at Howard (Dec. 22).
In addition to the previously mentioned contests and the 18 MAAC games, the Greyhounds will be home against Mount St. Mary's and Bucknell and visit Morgan State and a to-be-determined opponent in February as part of the ESPNU BracketBusters event. Television dates and select times will follow at a later date.
