WASHINGTON, D.C. - The coaches on opposite benches of tonight's Loyola University Maryland-George Washington University are very familiar with each other.

Loyola's Jimmy Patsos and George Washington's Mike Lonergan were teammates and roommates at Catholic University in the 1980, and they have been close friends since. They served in each other's wedding, and Patsos is godfather to Lonergan's daughter.
