Volleyball Wraps Up Season With Weekend Matches

Loyola University Maryland's volleyball team plays a pair of Patriot League matches this weekend to finish the 2015 season.
The Greyhounds travel to Washington, D.C., to face Patriot League regular-season champion American University at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13. Loyola then hosts the U.S. Naval Academy on Saturday, Nov. 14, in a 2 p.m. contest in Reitz Arena.

Alisah Cash hit .500 and had a career-high seven kills for Loyola University Maryland, but American hit .407 and swept the Greyhounds, 25-12, 25-19, 25-18, on Oct. 14 in Reitz Arena.
The Eagles hit .440 in the opening set and scored 17 of that stanza's final 20 points. Allison Cappelino had 10 kills to pace the Eagles.
Three days later, Navy used a 10-2 run in the first set to take control of the match, and the Midshipmen defeated Loyola University Maryland, 25-18, 25-12, 25-22.
Haley Puddy led Loyola with nine kills, and Corri Waters had three blocks, for the Greyhounds, while Gaby Smith posted 13 kills for the Midshipmen.
