Sept. 25, 2017 SUGAR GROVE, Ill. - Loyola University Maryland senior Ethan Wall logged his first top-10 finish of the season Monday, finishing tied for eighth at the Northern Intercollegiate played at Rich Harvest Farms, the final site of the 2017 NCAA Championships.
Wall shot a 3-over 75 today to finish at 4-under 212.
Senior Brendan Peel had the best round for the Greyhounds today, turning in a 1-over 73, to remain tied for 33rd. He finished at 4-over 220.
Senior Bennett Wisner finished tied for 39th at 221 after shooting a 4-over 76 today, while junior Erick Alonso was 68th at 234 and freshman Brandon Berry was 72nd at 240.
As a team, the Greyhounds slipped to 12th overall. They shot a 23-over 887 for the tournament.
Marquette won the team title with an impressive 32-under 832, followed by Virginia at 19-under 845 and Iowa State at 4-under 860. Virginia's Ashton Poole and Marquette's Oliver Farrell shared medalist honors with 14-under 202s.
The Greyhounds will return to action on Sunday, Oct. 9, for the two-day Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
