A three-time regional All-American, Saramago also earned his first All-America honor this season, being honored as one of the top 33 players in college soccer by the United Soccer Coaches Association. The third-team All-American also became the 12th player in Patriot League history to pick up three-straight first-team all-conference accolades.
Loyola's first All-American as a forward since Joe Koziol in 1988, Saramago started this season as a MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List honoree. He helped Loyola to a second-straight Patriot League Regular Season Championship and guided the Greyhounds in to the national rankings, as they checked in at 23rd through the final regular season poll.
Saramago finished this season with 24 points on eight goals and eight assists, with his eight assists leading the Patriot League and tying for 11th in the NCAA through the regular season.
Over the course of his career, he's helped Loyola to a 31-17-5 overall record and a 20-4-3 mark in Patriot League play, the best three-year record of any League team in that time.
